With Love

I usually make with a some one or some event in mind. And this card was no different. It started life as an anniversary card for my cousin, then I remembered I need to make a card for a friend's birthday. Easy enough. I'll just stamp an appropriate sentiment on the inside. Clearly by then I had forgotten that the card front tells quite a different story. Confused? So am I. Take a look at this:

The flower stamp is from Chocolate Baroque's A Thing of Beauty Oriental set.
For the background a stamp from WMS Fancy Phrases set and TH's Tattered Rose.
I coloured the flower with Caran d'Ache Supra Color Pencils and inked the edges
with TH Antique Linen and Vintage Photo. The sentiment is from WMSFancyPhrases,
stamped with VersaMagic Pixie Dust. I cut the window with SB Label Four.

Inside I stamped a sentiment from Chocolate Baroque's A Thing of Beauty Oriental
with Memento Rich Cocoa.

And now for some challenges:

Thank you so much for stopping by. I'll be swinging by your blogs to say hi.... have a beautiful day, my friends.

Beijinhos!

  22. You're not alone in shifting card purposes in the middle of making it, Asha. lol Hate to admit I've done the same thing. However, in your case, I think it still works beautifully. Would we not wish Love to a dear friend on their birthday?
