Polkadoodle-Emma Canning Blog Hop + CANDY

Hello there, fellow crafters. It's Friday again and time for another Polkadoodle challenge but this week it is one with a difference! You get the chance to win some fab Polkadoodle products by entering the challenge which is:

To Make A Card Using The Same Fab Emma Canning Image That I Have
You'll get the image for free at the Polka Doodles Challenge Blog HERE
If you've come to my blog from Anjie then you are on the right track and if you get lost just go back to the Polkadoodle Challenge blog as the full list of participants is there.  Remember, you need to enter the challenge and participate in the blog hop to be eligible for the mega Polkadoodle challenge prizes.

Now let me show you what I've done with the Emma Canning image:

I made this sweet feminine card for a girlfriend using the beautiful floral, polkadot and gingham prints  from       Polkadoodles' Cherry Blossom Lane CD. With so many gorgeous papers and elements on this CD, I had a hard time choosing.  The sentiment is also from the Cherry Blossom Lane CD.... splendid - enough said!

This image by Emma Canning is the sweeetest thing ever! The little lady is so delicate and I treated her kindly with soft pink colours. You have to agree that Emma's artwork is awesome and this image was an absolute joy to colour.

For dimension I used foam tape and  die-cut CS. For embellies: sheer pink ribbon and a few pink blings and my card is done.  I really didn't have to try very hard with that beautiful image and delicious papers.

On the inside... I saw that tag on the Cherry Blossom CD and I just had to use it. A little freebie bookmark for my friend!

Now hop on over to Astrid who will show you her creation using Emma's cute image. The Blog Hop will end at 12noon on Sunday 13 January along with the challenge, so good luck and happy hopping!

Don’t forget that you need to participate in the challenge and leave a comment on each of the blogs to be in with a chance of winning the mega Polkadoodle prizePlease be patient if not all the links are yet published – we are a World Wide Design Team with different time zones.  If you find a link is missing, please make a note of who you need to visit and come back later.

But wait, there's more! As this is my first blog-hop,
... and because I know hopping is hard work,
... and because I dig ya,
I'm doing a little giveaway! Yes, you heard right! I do more than just eat cream cakes all day!

There's a little goodie bag of tidbits up for grabs, and I'm hoping it will help you get started on your Valentine's Day and springtime projects. So, while I was distracted by a profiterole, the following doodads slipped into a little secret bag:

1. Die-cut felt scene : toadstools, flower and ladybug; 2. Three die-cut felt blossoms; 3. Die-cut large felt bloom in pink; 4. Die-cut felt strawberry with leaf and white blossom; 5. Die-cut felt apple; 6. Die-cut felt cherries; 6. Cream crochet lace (1mtr); 7. White heart lace (1mtr); 8. Pink rik-rak (1mtr); 9. One heart charm; 10. Gray polkadot ribbon (1mtr); 11. Pink polkadot ribbon (1mtr) ; 12. White and red flower ribbon (1mtr); 13. Papermania Typography Clear Stamp "With Love" and 14. MYSTERY STAMP - not shown above. Will be revealed when the winner is drawn!

Here's what you've got to do to get your mitts on my stash:

1. Follow me...but only if you like what I do and plan to keep following me. This giveaway is my way of thanking my followers for putting up with me.  And yes, I plan to have more giveaways, so stick around! AND

2. Leave a comment... tell me what you did last year on Valentine's day. Why? 'Coz I'm plain nosy! (I was doing the laundry last year... so, no pressure to come up with a romantic tale!) To be entered into the draw, you must comment - both existing and new followers.

3. If you have a blog, leave me a link. I'd like to spy on you too.... (Did I mention that I'm nosy?)

This giveaway starts today Friday Jan 4, 2013 at 9am GMT and will end on Sunday Jan 13, 2013 at noon GMT at the same time as the Blog Hop. One lucky "Follower-Commenter" will be drawn at random using RandomOrg and the result will be posted on my blog on Monday Jan 14, 2013. Everyone eligible, from Nagasaki to Newfoundland, will be entered into the draw. So, don't be shy!

Thanks for stopping by and now I'll have to shoo you off to Astrid's place. Happy Hopping!

Beijinhos.

ciao cara Asha

E tu??? cosa hai fatto a San Valentino????
